Milling machine - A milling machine is a power-driven machine used for the complex shaping of metal (or possibly other materials) parts. Its basic form is that of a rotating cutter or mill bit which rotates about the spindle axis (like a drill), and a worktable that can move in multiple directions (often three dimensions relative to the workpiece, whereas a drill can only move in one dimension while cutting).
Electronic Recording Machine, Accounting - ERMA, for Electronic Recording Machine-Accounting, was a pioneering computer development project run at SRI under contract to Bank of America in order to automate banking bookkeeping. The project ran from 1950 to 1955 and was considered a success by all involved, at which point General Electric was contracted to build 32 ERMA machines.
Hobbing machine - A hobbing machine is a special form of milling machine that mills gears.
HyperWar Project - The HyperWar Project is a Internet based project for transforming World War II source materials into machine readable format and releasing them into the public domain. It is coordinated by Patrick Clancey.
